The design and display of the Xperia XA2 are optimised for convenience and comfort. Both cameras allow you to capture life as it happens. As expected, there is also Sony's audio design which includes Smart Amplifier technology, ClearAudio+, and Clear Bass and allows you to adjust the sound of any audio to perfection. The phone also uses smart technology that learns how you use your phone. It allows for personalised hints to get the most out of the phone, along with customising settings based on your usage.
Design and Display
The screen on the Xperia XA2 has a borderless design, which stretches the screen as far as possible. The resulting 5.2 screen is full 1080p HD, great for entertainment. The screen is made of Corning Gorilla Glass and the case is metal, meaning the phone is much stronger than it looks. The XA2 is designed to fit perfectly in your hand. The one-touch fingerprint sensor is on the back of the phone and allows for easy access for no one but you.
The Xperia XA2 has two cameras. The main camera is 23MP with the Exmor RS for mobile sensor, which allows superb clarity and detail with every picture. It also allows for faster focusing and improved clarity in low light. Recordings are 4K and assisted by SteadyShot, and the 120fps allows you to create slow-motion films. The
8MP selfie camera has a 120° super wide-angle lens that lets you capture a larger group than before. The shutter can be activated with a wave of the hand, allowing a more natural shot.
Under the Hood
The processor found in the Xperia XA2 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset, allowing super-smooth and fast performance. There is 32GB built-in storage and a mircoSD slot for up to an additional 256GB. The battery has been upgraded to 3300mAh and the Qnovo Adaptive Charging and Battery Care technologies work to monitor and optimise your power supply and usage, allowing for better battery life.
